draft model 2

This a draft shot i thought i would add to show the progressive journey towards the final developed model. The idea that the model is not similar to the intended sectioned drawings, expresses the hardships i had with the program at first, then as time passed, i was able to exactly emulate the intended drawings

As shown, some of the features in the upper section drawing were not inputted as i found it difficult to get surrounding structures to wrap around the building. Which can now be seen in the developed model.

The lower section was also altered for similar reasons.

animations

This animation exhibits the top level of the museum, showing both the stairs that lead to level 1 and 2. This level expresses the word "direction" both from the outside (parallel and corresponding structures) and from the inside as it also shows the freedom of direction, allowing for all access to both levels 1 and 2.

This is the main entrance, level 1 of the museum, as this video shows the stairs to level 3 (upper video) and the passage way to the underground museum (video below).

This is the underground level, as the animation shows the passage to level 1. Within the underground level, the video displays the main feature of the hollow tubes, which are used to make an audio effect once in there (expressing Patricia Piccinini's scooters). This is supported by the choice in background music chosen.

developed sketchup model

This section drawing's selected words are direction (upper) and surround (lower). This was chosen for the final developed model as it shows both interrelation between the two artists and practicality.

Level 3 entrance

Level 3 stair bridge

Level 1. The image shows the hollow tubing which allows for audio fiddling when visitors are within the museum. This adds to Patricia Piccinini's motorcycle effect. This is more clearly expressed within the added video (museum 3), which the effect is further emphasized through the selected track played in the background.
